Hi! I wrote this liitle app because I found it much easier to cut the ASCII encrypted password from the document than the hex version. But now it's even easier, just type the username whose password you want and the program should do it all itself using the local machines U & G file. I believe that the encryption differs slightly from system to system, and also for different passwords. I am currently trying to figure this out. Until then the program spurts out a list of 31 possible passwords, it will only be the first letter changed each time, but it is this part of the encryption that seems to 'change', the passwords in the middle of the list will be the ones that are usually right. Then the chance lessens towards the top and bottom of the list. As the U & G file is so bloody confusing there are a couple of boxes to try checking if the program seems to be failing. This is still a bit buggy so gimme a bit to neaten it up and figure out the first part of the encryption.
Although it is all a bit pointless because if you don't have physical access to the machine then you probably cannot get the U&G file in the first place, but if you do then you can just change all the passwords in the conrtol panel. But for the rare occasion when then is some weird security which lets you have the U&G here you go. If you don't have a physical access then get a copy of MagicKey by System Cowboy.
